What the app collects
SoundBeam does not collect personal data. It does not track you, build a profile, sell data, or send app analytics to Leaf Automation. Version 1.2 contains no advertising, analytics, account, or third-party crash-reporting SDK.
Your audio files
You choose audio through Apple's Files picker. SoundBeam copies each selected file into its private app storage so playback and equalizer processing can continue after the picker closes. The file and any processed audio remain on the device. SoundBeam does not upload them.
Removing an imported track deletes SoundBeam's copy. Removing the app deletes its local app storage under the controls provided by iOS. Apple may include app data in a device backup if you enable that backup in your Apple settings.
Settings stored on your device
Equalizer profiles, imported-track records, and playback preferences are stored locally so they survive an app restart. SoundBeam uses this information only to restore your app state.
AirPlay and route information
Apple's system AirPlay picker selects the output. SoundBeam reads the current route from iOS so it can show the active output name and count. It does not send that route information to Leaf Automation. Apple's handling of AirPlay and iCloud is covered by Apple's own policies.
Permissions and access
The public version does not request location, Bluetooth, contacts, camera, or microphone access. It uses the Files picker only when you choose to import audio, and it uses background-audio mode so playback can continue when the phone locks.
Questions or requests
Email support@leafautomation.ai for a privacy question or request. Include "SoundBeam privacy" in the subject line. Do not attach an audio file unless support asks for it.
